Our exterior clock mechanisms or Mains Clock
Movements are produced from non ferrous materials throughout. The
precision machined gears are cut from brass and phosphor bronze, the
hour shaft is marine grade brass and the minute shaft is stainless
steel. The main drive gear is a phosphor bronze wheel for greater
strength and reliability and accuracy. With materials chosen for
durability and strength your exterior clock mechanism is designed to
last and stand the test of time. All of our Clock Movements come
with a Clock Control System to ensure your clock movement is always
running to tell the correct time.
For maximum protection from the elements all the
components are assembled and housed within a hard anodised enclosure
CNC machined from a single billet of aluminium. Dedicated electrical
connections are incorporated within the enclosure for simple and
speedy installation. State of the art bearings on all moving parts
ensure that our movements will provide years of faultless service
requiring little or no maintenance.
All our exterior clock movements
are backed by our 5 year return to base warranty against mechanical
failure.
